Ivan Pantaleon - Chairman of the Board
Foster Family services manager at Tapestry Family Services, and a native of Ukiah, Ivan was instrumental in growing the Friday night Open ARRC program, and still volunteers his time helping to organize and play on Friday nights. Ivan joined the Board in June 2018.

Marvin Trotter M.D. - President
Emergency Room Physician and former Chief of Staff, Ukiah Valley Medical Center; Private Practice, Internal Medicine; former Mendocino County Public Health Officer. Dr. Trotter has served on the board since its inception in 1997. Marvin has been active on the Finance, Executive and Public Relations Committees. With his background in medicine and public health in Mendocino County, Marvin is able to promote the ARRC and its mission from the perspective of community health and wellness, with a focus on prevention of substance abuse and gang activity. Dr. Trotter has personally donated tens of thousands of dollars and given hundreds of volunteer hours doing public presentations, soliciting donations, and assisting in grant writing to support the ARRC.

Denise Gorny - Vice President
Community Support Specialist II for State Council on Developmental Disabilities, North Coast, Denise has served on the board since its inception in 1997. She has served on the Executive, Fundraising and Program Committees. Denise volunteers countless hours in the form of public presentations, fundraising events, solicitation of donations and grant research. Denise is a board member of the Ukiah Boys and Girls Club and in that capacity acts as a liaison between the two groups.

Jose Cardenas – Treasurer
Jose is a commercial loan officer with Savings Bank of Mendocino County, and brings his financial planning expertise as well as strength with organizational capacity, systems and structures to help improve the way the ARRC operates and plans for the future. He is a frequent attendee of Open ARRC Fridays and a devoted soccer player who is driven to protect and promote facilities where sports can be played in Ukiah, such as the ARRC, so that youth and families can benefit. Jose joined the Board in 2020.

Casey Ford - Secretary
Casey has been a Labor & Delivery nurse at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for 15 years. Born and raised in Hopland, where she currently resides with her husband and three children, she is passionate about helping families and promoting youth sports. Casey joined the Board in 2019.

Sam Goldberg
Sam is a pediatrician who practiced in Ukiah and Lakeport from 1982 until his retirement in 2016. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkley and graduated from USC Medical School in 1978. He is married with two adult children. Sam has been a believer in the mission of the ARRC since it was initially presented to him as an idea, and has continued to be a supporter of the ARRC as the Center was built and began serving the community. Sam joined the Board in 2017.

Lloyd Weer
Auditor Controller of Mendocino County, Lloyd has been involved for many years as a coach for Ukiah youth sports programs and the Mendocino College football team. He has also served on the boards of numerous youth sports leagues and other community organizations. He joined the ARRC board in 2013. Due to his financial background and experience, Lloyd was drafted to be the board’s treasurer. He also serves on the Executive Committee. He holds the vision for the ARRC that it will serve all of Ukiah’s youth and their families.
Joanna Olson
Joanna is the former Executive Director of Mendocino County Youth Project and current Executive Director at MCAVIN. She brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge in grant writing and program management to the board as well as an unmatched passion for serving her community. Joanna lives in Ukiah with her plethora of Chow Chow dogs and enjoys raising and showing them. Joanna joined the Board in 2022Email: joolson57@gmail.com
Jenifer Elmer
Jenifer owns and operates Alliance Auto Service in Ukiah with her husband . She earned her bachelor's degree in Communications at Long Beach State and her MBA in Washington. She has served on numerous other boards as well as volunteers her time to many community organizations. She brings her communication and marketing strength to the board as well as a love for the community. Jenifer has been a long time supporter of the ARRC and was honored to become a board member in 2022.
Jenifer resides in Ukiah with her husband and two children.
